Meet Danielle Kaiser

Danielle grew up in St. Louis and started riding when she was eight. The barn was a competitive show barn that instilled horsemanship and a true appreciation of the horses. The quality of instruction and the solid foundation in horsemanship set the tone for her career. By the age of twelve she had started showing at the national level. As a junior rider she showed many hunters as well as qualifying for the Medal and McClay several times.

Shortly after aging out of the juniors she was offered an assistant trainer role at a large, well established business. Her role, while primarily was riding and teaching also included the day to day operations such as consulting with the vets and farriers. They regularly took 20-30 horses on the road. It was there she learned all the logistics involved with having that many horses on the road. After six busy years of showing and training Danielle decided to open her own business in Wildwood, Missouri.

There she leased a 30 stall facility on 25 acres. The business grew from young riders just discovering their love of horses to a large base of adult riders. Danielle's teaching style coupled with her laid back yet competitive attitude attracted not only kids but adults as well. Danielle's positive approach to teaching instills confidence in riders of all ages. The competent instruction and the confidence that she is able to instill in the riders always allows for a fun and successful horse show experience.

After twelve years she found herself wanting to learn more and expand her knowledge by working for a variety of very successful barns. Her love of learning allowed her to take a leap of faith when deciding to move east and become a small fish in a big pond. There she worked for some of the ions in the industry that she had read about as a junior. She went to work for Margie Engle helping coordinate the logistics behind the scenes at the horse shows. Eventually that lead to flatting the horses and helping school the riders and horses at the horse shows. She then spent a winter/spring circuit on the road with Laura Kraut. The time she spent with Margie and Laura greatly enhanced her experience in the jumper ring.

Danielle's first love has always been the hunter and equitation. She then moved to Buffalo, NY to work for SBS Farms. While the time there was brief, it ultimately opened a door to a job she had always dreamed of at Heritage Farm in Katonah, NY. This was a wonderful opportunity to work with one of the most prestigious barns in the country. There they were routinely taking 50-60 horses on the road three out of four weeks a month. Her role while at Heritage was teaching competitive riders how to capitalize on their strengths and strengthen their weaknesses so they could be the best possible partner they could be with their horse. They consistently won championships at all the major equitation finals, pony finals and at all the major fall indoor horse shows.

After many years on the road Danielle got tired of all the travel and decided to take a step back. She "got a real job" and moved to Arizona. She continued to ride and show her personal horses as an amateur for 8 years. The "real job" became boring and the sitting and being inside all day never had agreed with her. After the break, feeling refreshed and enthusiastic she decided to join her family in Texas. Once settled in McKinney, she began riding and teaching at a few barns in the Dallas area.

Danielle met Brandon through a friend and a year later an opportunity came along to join his team at BCSH. Danielle truly enjoys teaching and shaping the horseman of the future.
